EFBA seeks to promote awareness and understanding of the latest
developments in animal welfare, environmental issues and modern
farm management. It strives towards uniform European fur farming
practices based upon the highest standards of care. It acts as
initiator and co-ordinator of new technological and scientific
developments. In close co-operation with its fifteen member
organisations, it reaches out to fur farmers in Europe to keep
their practices in the vanguard of modern farming. EFBA works to
promote a realistic image of the European fur farming sector to
the public at large.
